I was born in Pistoia and have always been passionate about anything that moved and had electronic components. This led me to approach the field of robotics since my high school years. My desire to learn and discover led me to pursue a university education. In 2020, I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, and in 2023, I obtained a Master's Degree in Robotics and Automation Engineering at the University of Pisa. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in robotics at the University of Pisa, with a focus on ecological and digital transition.
Robotics, Legged Locomotion, Optimal Control, Numerical Optimization
My research focus is on legged locomotion, particularly on planning algorithms and control strategies for quadrupedal robots. I am currently working on optimal control and numerical optimization within the scope of my research. My goal is to develop a mixed control strategy that combines model-based and machine learning techniques to achieve precise motion in unstructured terrains for quadrupedal robots, aided by sensors to improve the robots' proprioceptive capabilities.
