Born in 1992, I grew up with a strong passion for scientific subjects that lead me to start my study in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pisa. In 2015 I got my Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pisa. In 2017 I got my Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (106/110) at the University of Pisa. I am currently a PhD Student in Smart Industry and I am conducting my research activities at DICI in Pisa. I took part in the regional research projects listed below: – IOT 4.0 solutions for Yacht maintenance and remote assistance, IOT4Yacht, POR CREO FESR 2014-2020; – Quick Response Logistics and Manufacturing for Shoes Industry, QRLMS, POR CREO FESR 2014/2020.
Supply chain management, simulation modelling, digitization.
My research activity has two main focus: the simulation modelling and the study of the supply chain of the fashion industry. I am developing skills in the use of simulation software that could allow me to replicate the behaviour of manufacturing plant and logistic systems. I’m going to spend the six-month period abroad in a team specialized in this sector. My second research topic is also related to my scholarship that is about the “Tuscany fashion supply chain digitalization”. During the first year of my PhD I carried out a literature review about the fashion industry, supply chain management, and I visited some industrial plant. The aim is to develop new logics that allow a better management of the production activities of a supply chain.
