Born in Pisa, I grew up with a strong passion in IT and Robotics. In 2015 I obtained the bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa; then in 2018 I obtained the degree in Robotics and Automation Engineering from the same institute. I am currently a PhD Student candidate, and researcher at the Research Center “E. Piaggio” in Pisa.
Robotics, Manipulation, Planning, Soft Robotics
My research is focused on the optimization of the motion planning of robotics platforms to be deployed into an Industrial scenario. I want to develop a framework capable of fully exploiting the new capabilities of the emerging new generation of robots, e.g., Soft Robots. By doing so, it will be possible to enable the transition of these compliant, safe, and flexible platforms from the laboratories to the industries. In this way, it will be possible to exploit both flexible and high-performance solutions for a new generation of Smart Industries.
